Mov’n, mov’n is all o’er
Now that I crossed o’er to my Heavenly Home.
Now, let me tell you…my mansion’s all ready for me to roam.
Just moved…forwarding address, Heaven!

Don’t write me at my old address,
For I won’t be there!
I’ve got a brand new address
Past the Pearly Gates to my mansion here!
Just moved…forwarding address, Heaven!

I’ll be waiting for you, dear ones.
Mamma and sis will be here too someday
And will say, “Welcome Home!”
Oh, what a glad reunion day!
Just moved…forwarding address, Heaven!

Heaven is where Jesus is always
Who wiped all my goodbye tears away
And a new body He gave
Taking all my pain and suffering away
We’re all singin’ night and day, “Jesus saves!”

Singin’ night and day, night and day,
Hallelujah, Oh, What a Saviour!
Glory to God in the Highest!
Majestic and Holy art Thou!
Who shall reign forever and ever and ever and ever!

Now…I hope it won’t be long when you can join me to say,

I wrote this song April 9, 1996 one night, when I couldn’t sleep. I was praying for the family of a man who passed away, a former member of our church. I was praying for others who recently lost loved ones to Heaven. I was also working on tracts and couldn’t get out of my mind all the returned tracts we got this month marked either, “moved…left no forwarding address;” or “Moved…forwarding address…” Then the Lord gave me the idea for this poem. I hope it will be a blessing to many who have lost loved ones who have gone on to be with Jesus in Heaven and be a comfort to all that we will see them all again soon for our Lord is coming back soon to Rapture us Home! John 14:1-6.

John 14:1-6 – “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And wither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto Him, Lord, we know not wither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Isaiah 25:8 – “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.”

Revelations 21:4 – “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.”
