"MY LORD CARRIES ME IN HIS BOSOM"

I felt Your touch, Lord, during my darkest hour
As You tenderly gathered me up in Your Arms
And carried me in Your Bosom
Oh, so close – basking in Your Love
I rested and fed on Your Word
To give me grace and strength to go on
And the sweetest peace flowed thru me
As You, my shepherd, carried me in Your Bosom

I felt Your touch, Lord, when I wandered far from You
As You picked up the broken pieces of my life
And carried me in Your Bosom
Oh, so close, as tears streamed down my face
Thanking You for Your AMAZING GRACE
To save a sinner as me – oh, such love!
And the sweetest peace flowed thru me
As You, My Shepherd, carried me in Your Bosom

I will feel Your touch, Lord, when I enter the Pearly Gates
As You tenderly will gather me in Your Arms
And carry me in Your Bosom
Oh, so close wiping tears from my eyes
As You show me to my mansion in the sky
I will lay down my crown and worship You, My Lord
And the sweetest peace will flow thru me
As You, my Shepherd, carry me in Your Bosom

Thank You, Lord, for carrying me in Your Bosom
Sheltering me from my storms – from my storms
All my fears fade away as You hold me close to You
Giving me sweet peace as You carry – oh, so tenderly,
Carry me in Your Bosom, Lord!

Dedicated to my Aunt Margaret Eck whom I loved very much – this song was for her when she was in her storm of cancer as our Lord tenderly carried her in His Bosom! She was carried to her mansion in the sky in our Lord’s bosom – no more pain/suffering.

Isaiah 46:2 – “…I will carry you.”

Isaiah 40:11 – “He shall feed His flock like a Shepherd. He shall gather the lambs with His arms and carry them in His bosom.”

OUR LORD WILL CARRY US IN THE BOSOM OF HIS LOVE AND CHERISH US WHEN WE TIRE AND ARE HEAVYBURDENED, SICK AND FAINT WITH PITY &
TENDERNESS OF A SHEPHERD. HE TAKES EXTRA CARE OF THOSE THAT MOST NEED HIS CARE AND GATHERS THEM IN HIS ARMS OF HIS POWER: HIS STRENGTH SHALL BE MADE PERFECT IN THEIR WEAKNESS (II Corinthians 12:1). GOD WILL BE THEIR ARM EVERY MORNING (Isaiah 33:2).

(When I went into surgery Dec. 7, 1993, I felt His Presence as He carried me – oh, such peace!)

Psalms 73:23-26, 28; Psalms 23 – The Lord is our Shepherd when we get saved and He never leaves us; He carries us in His Bosom as we go thru our storms/trials of life. WHAT A GREAT GOD WE HAVE!

Isaiah 40:11, 28, 31 “…He shall gather the lamb with his arm, and carry them in His bosom…but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”

Luke 16:22, 23 – “…the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom (in heaven).”

Isaiah 46:4 – “and even to your old age I am he; and even to your hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.”
