In my valley of pain and despair
My Lord ministered o’ so near
Whispering softly in my ear,
“My GRACE is sufficient for you, my dear.”

In my hour of need as I wept the night away
My Lord ministered o’ so near
Recording in His Book each tear
Giving GRACE enough my burden to bear.

My Lord ministered o’ so near
Because Jesus really does care
Enabling me to rest in His loving arms
As He carried away my burden too heavy to bear.

2 Corinthians 12:9, 10 – “Jesus said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…that is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecution, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Psalm 56:8 – “Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?”

Psalm 6:2, 3,6,8 and 9 – “Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord heal me; for my bones are vexed, my soul is also sore vexed: but then, O Lord, how long? I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears…the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping…he will receive my prayer.”

Psalm 34:17,18 – “The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, He delivereth them out of all their troubles. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart…”
