"STILL LEAN’N ON YOU, LORD"

As the years pass by in this pain wretched body
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
Not worrying or wondering “why” for this thorn
Just lean’n on You, Lord!
For in Your Word all thru the Book
You demand trust in our storms
So, I’ll keep lean’n on You, Lord!
It’s as simple as that!

Trials and suffering bring me into beautiful valleys
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
Where the most beautiful lessons are learned
Always lean’n on You, Lord!
Drawing me closer to You, Lord
Giving me grace to endure
So, I’ll keep lean’n on You, Lord!
It’s as simple as that!

Still lean’n on You, Lord!
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
After all these years
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
I just can’t stop trusting and believing in Your Word
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
Still lean’n on You, Lord!
Still lean’n on You, Lord!

Proverbs 3:5, 6 – “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths.”

Psalm 73:28 – “But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.”

Psalm 18:1-3 – “I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.”

Psalm 73:23-26 – “Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee, my flesh and my heart faileth; but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
