"COME CLOSE TO ME, MY BRIDE"
God’s Love Letter – Song of Solomon
To His Bride, the Church
You are My Love – My Love
So pure and undefiled as a Dove
So beautiful, My Love, in your wedding dress of righteousness
Come to the royal marriage supper
Spread in the Gospel
And feast on My Word to nourish your soul
I will satisfy thee – satisfy thee
Filling you with a sweet fragrance of Me.
You are precious, My love
I long for your love and companionship
To embrace you tenderly and hold you close to Me, for I love you
Trials turn you to look above
Where I can again prove My love for you
And can be your Lily in your valley
As we walk together hand in hand
Come close to Me, so close to Me, My Bride
I have given you My kisses of grace and peace at Calvary
Proving My love for you
So, come close to Me, My Bride!
Come close to Me My lovely Bride, as the WEDDING DAY is coming soon! Coming soon!
As you read Song of Solomon you will become overwhelmed feeling God’s love for you and His church, the bride of Christ. We can’t even begin to fathom how great God’s love is for us, can we? He longs for us to come into His presence to commune with Him and in His Word where He can through the Holy Spirit speak to us – He longs for such closeness! We are the ones that don’t come to Him often enough or are to busy for Him. We can come to Him for refreshment for our souls to learn how much He really loves and cares about each and everyone of us – His bride, the church of saved believers! He wants us to stay close to Him so He can make us a holy bride to be ready for His coming in full bloom – what a wedding day that will be! Glory!!

And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb…and I fell at his feet to worship him…”
