My life is Yours, Lord
So, bring sorrow and pain
If a closer walk I may obtain
Divine interruptions are only
for a season
Thus, my trial comes for a reason
So, I will trust in You, My Lord!

- Barbara Summers -

Psalm 73:28 – “But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.”

Colossians 2:6 – “And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him too for each day’s problems; live in vital union with him.” (Living Letters Translation)

Romans 8:28, 29 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose…to be conformed to the image of his son…”

Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (hope…for a future).”

Written right after Paul’s heart attack (1995). Pastor David Jeremiah on Turning Point said on radio how his cancer in 1995 was a “divine interruption.”
